Using a Torque Wrench

To hold a pivoted type handle, you should grasp it lightly, and as you pull on the handle, it should be floated on the pivot point, thus concentrating your pulling force.

The fact that the handle ends may contact the yoke extension in the process of pulling will not necessarily cause inaccuracies, as long as you do not deliberately shift your hand hold position so as to obviously change the concentration of pulling from the pivot point to a position divided between the pivot point and the point at which the handle engages the yoke extension.

The design of the handle is such as to make it inconvenient to deliberately use the floating principal improperly.

The floating pivoted type handle provides means for properly and correctly using a torque wrench to obtain utmost accuracy in making measurements.
