Using a Torque Wrench

Accurate torque wrenches are equipped with a means for fixing the hand hold position on the handle of the torque wrench.

A floating or pivoted handle accomplishes this purpose.

A pivoted handle permits the accurate and correct use of torque wrench adapters and extensions.
