Torque Auditing Methods

There are two common ways to audit torque:

1. Static—Using hand-held torque tools to check breakaway torque
2. Dynamic—Using in-line torque transducers to check peak torque.

There's a good deal of difference between these two methods, and advantages and disadvantages to both. The basic characteristics are listed on the next few screens.
