Using a Torque Wrench
Memory Feature
Torque wrenches are used to determine torsional strength of parts and assemblies, and it is sometimes desirable when making these test to have a memory hand or set finger arrangement as a part of the torque wrench scale.
The memory feature would enable you to tell what torque had been applied after the application was made. The memory hand torque wrench would have a double pointer arrangement.
One would be used in a conventional manner for direct reading; the other would travel from zero reading to the maximum reading and stay at this point so that the operator might make an observation. It then could be returned by hand to the zero point for the next test.
