Torque Wrench Description

The term "torque wrench" is commonly used today to describe a type of measuring tool.

It is calibrated or set in such a way as to make possible the measurement of the resistance to turning.

A torque wrench measures the resistance to turning which is torque.

A torque wrench is a gage tool that can be compared with a micrometer, dial indicator, vernier caliper, levels, and other accurate measuring devices.
